The ArcCO Guardianship Survey

The Arc of Colorado is collecting information about guardianship and/or conservatorship experiences in Colorado.

The target audience for this survey includes individuals with disabilities who are currently - or could be - subject to guardianship and/or conservatorship, and their families and supports.

This survey will remain open until February 15, 2024.

Here are a few recommendations to consider. Additional information is available on their websites:

    Seeking Board Members

    The Arc of Adams County is currently seeking board members!

    Who are we looking for?
    • Bilingual (Spanish Speaking) parent, guardian, community member with experience working with people with Intellectual Developmental Disabilities (IDD)
    • Individual who lives in the eastern part of Adams County and has experience working with people with IDD
    • Parent of a younger, school aged child

    If you meet one of the above and are interested in serving, we encourage you to read the attached Board Prospectus and fill out the Board Interest Form below.

    Disability Rights Advocacy Day 2024!

    Individuals with disabilities have the knowledge, experience, and ideas to inform much-needed policy changes, and the drive to do whatever it takes to make those changes happen.

    This event aims to provide the visibility people with disabilities are often not given and strengthen the advocacy happening around the state to include policy changes at all government levels. Click the button below to learn more.

    Parent Education Advocacy Workshop

    This is a hands on, interactive 2-hour workshop from 12pm – 2pm on February 26, 2024. 

    There is a small fee for training payable upon registration.
